Off to New Zealand

Ok not quite, but we are leaving on January 21th 2008. First stop is Auckland New Zealand home of sheep and rugby.

Plans? What plans. The only plan we have is to make our way down to the South Island by Te Anau and tramp the Dusky Track . Should see a lot of Lord of the Rings-esque scenery, maybe hike up Mt. Doom, destroy a ring....who knows. Besides that, we hope to see a Super 14 Rugby game in Auckland, and maybe do some glacier treks. We'll keep you posted.

I know a lot of people have been to New Zealand. If so, what do you guys recommend? All your input is appreciated and will be taken into consideration.
